So often we lose focus of what it is that we really really want. Life happens and we get taken on a detour or go off on a tangent yet we sit with the uncomfortable feeling of not being on track, at least not on the track that we want.
A new year is the best time to refocus. You have rested over the holidays and enjoyed time with family and friends without giving too much thought to work, relationships, adulting etc. I speak for myself, that was my holiday. I unplugged and spent 10 days in a seaside town. I took long walks on the beach, swam in the sea, had afternoon snoozes and really just nurtured myself. And for once I fully felt unwound.
So now it is January and the work year has officially started. I have already decided on my words for the year which are balance and joy. Next I will be setting five goals against five different areas of my life. It is an exercise I do with my clients too. This shows us the territory that we are working with in 2019.
If you’d like, please book a call with me to discuss how you would like your 2019 to be and how I can support you.
